Coronation Street’s Steph Davies reveals the ‘hardest part’ about watching the soap with her boyfriend

STEPH Davies has revealed the “hardest part” about watching herself in Coronation Street with boyfriend Joe Mckalroy.

The actress, 30, joined Coronation Street as Courtney Vance in May this year. #

Courtney is already causing trouble after leaving her husband for Dev Alahan’s 18-year-old son Aadi.

The new couple were recently caught locking lips by unimpressed Dev – and Steph revealed she decided to watch that particular episode with Joe and his family.

She said: “Courtney really goes for it.

“I was watching it with Joe and his family. I was hiding behind the pillow feeling awkward and going, ‘Why have I done this?’ I wanted the ground to swallow me up.”

Former Hollyoaks star Steph also teased a huge twist in the storyline – revealing she hopes Courtney will actually end up with Dev.

She added to OK! Magazine: “It’s more about money. Aadi’s too young, he can’t give her the life she’s accustomed to, so will she go for the dad who’s got both?”

Steph and Joe got together last year and in June enjoyed a romantic holiday together.

She is mum to son Caben-Albi, six, who she shares with Jeremy McConnell following their whirlwind romance after meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
