My Mum, Your Dad set for huge change next season, reveals host Davina McCall

DAVINA McCALL has loved her turn as matchmaker for ITV’s middle-age dating show My Mum, Your Dad so much that she is already eyeing a second series.

And she is so thrilled by the launch, she is after a celebrity version too.

Davina McCall believes a celebrity version of My Mum, Your Dad would be a hit

The show reaches its penultimate outing in the Surrey mansion where single parents have been dating, secretly watched over by their grown-up kids.

Davina said: “I want to present this show for the rest of my life. A celebrity version would be so good — how many single celebs are there? I’m interviewing now.”

She added: “I love watching love blossom, and it blossomed very organically and very slowly and sweetly.

“I’ve since been sent photos of couples. The show works, I really am Cupid.”

In the finale, the parents will finally learn the show’s huge twist — that their children had been watching their every move.

Davina will ask Kaliel and Mazey if they approve of their parents Natalie and Paul’s connection.

And she will find out if Zach and Tia think parents Elliott and Sharon are suited.

Davina added: “I like it that when they do meet and match, they have their kids’ blessing and the kids know each other too.

“That’s an enormous hurdle in a new relationship. If the kids don’t like each other, it’s game over.”

My Mum, Your Dad airs on Thursday at 9pm on ITV1 and the final drops straight after on ITVX.

The finale will then be shown again on Friday at 10pm on ITV1 after The Lionesses take on Scotland in the UEFA Womens Nations League.

JACK Whitehall has likely been busy clearing up baby sick after the birth of his daughter two weeks ago.

But his mum Hilary says the comic is no stranger to a mess, especially if his teen years are anything to go by.

The former actress revealed she had to fork out cash to clean up vomit in a taxi after one of Jack’s benders.

Hilary told the Dish podcast: “I had a moment with Jack, in the teenage years.

“It was about 2am, doorbell goes and there’s Jack, who falls though the door, goes up the stairs. I go back to bed.

“Five minutes later, the doorbell goes again and there’s an irate taxi driver.

“He said Jack owes £120. I said to the guy, ‘Why £120?’ And he said, ‘It’s £60 ’cause I’ve brought him from Enfield, and £60 vomit money’.”

Insomnia will debut on Paramount+ in 2024.

My Raph ride in prisons

Raphael Rowe interviews some of the world’s most dangerous people in prison

RAPHAEL Rowe, star of Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons, has revealed just how dangerous it really is when filming his hit Netflix show.

The presenter has travelled to Finland, the Czech Republic, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands with his TV crew for the seventh season of the docuseries, which is streaming now.

He reveals: “We’ve been threatened and attacked. Snooker balls have been thrown at us.

“We’ve even had to leave a scenario where a prisoner was killed by other prisoners.

“One guy I built up a relationship with was released from prison and killed.

“It’s a constant reminder to me of the danger of mixing with that world.”
