Gov. Pritzker, Mayor Johnson cheer Biden administration’s expansion of work permits, protections to Venezuelan migrants

The Democratic leaders both immediately issued statements applauding the announcement by the Biden administration to grant Temporary Protected Status to the estimated 472,000 Venezuelans who have arrived in the country as of July 31.
