Demi Lovato Gets Preppy in Burgundy Loafer-Style Heels at Boss’ Spring 2024 Show
Demi Lovato graced Boss’ spring 2024 show held in Milan yesterday. Beyond Lovato, notable attendees at the show included Burna Boy, Suki Waterhouse, Naomi Campbell, Ariana DeBose, Demi Lovato, Dixie D’Amelio and Sonam Kapoor among others.
Offering her ensemble a preppy twist, Lovato donned a pair of pointed-toe loafer-inspired heels. The hitmaker’s footwear was composed of glossy burgundy patent leather uppers that transitioned into triangular-shaped toes.
Additionally, Lovato’s footwear included grungy buckle detailing accompanied by conservative thin rectangular heels standing at about 2 to 3 inches in height. Loafers, no matter the style, are a closet staple for many top stars. Unlike their more formal oxford counterparts, loafers typically do not have lace-up closures. They’re often worn the more casual pieces including skirts and denim.
Matching her footwear, the “Heart Attack” songstress donned a silky and shiny burgundy set. Lovato’s look was comprised of a black bra top worn with breezy high-waisted trousers. Overtop her bra top, the performer layered on an oversized and silky burgundy blazer-inspired coat that swept the floor. Lovato accessorized with a burgundy clutch and silver sunglasses.
The pop star’s love for sky-high footwear silhouettes goes deep. The singer wore dark red oxfords studded with silver spokes all atop massive platforms. The former “X-Factor” judge previously wore similar styles by Stuart Weitzman, Saint Laurent, Casadei and Ruthie Davis to numerous events over the years. The singer has a rock star quality to her clothing these days that often features leather, glitter, metallics, and plenty of bling. The styling perfectly complements the sleek and often edgy shoes they wear.
Milan Fashion Week officially kicked off on Sept. 19 and runs through Sept. 25. The spring 2024 season features a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of brands, including Fendi, Tom Ford, Versace, Gucci and more.
