The United Nations (UN) in India has announced a new partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to enhance India and South-South cooperation. The UN will work with the Indian government to identify and share best practices in development with other countries. The partnership was formalized through an exchange of Letters of Intent between UN-India and the Gates Foundation.
