The famous dabbawallas of Mumbai, known for their efficient tiffin delivery service, have not only delivered meals but also emotions. They have come across instances where love letters and sorry notes were sent along with the lunchboxes, saving marriages in the process. The dabbawalas have even adapted to the changing times by involving the wives of workers to prepare lunches. Despite facing challenges during the pandemic, they are upskilling and embracing technology to continue their business. Approximately 2 lakh lunch boxes are delivered each day by the Mumbai dabbawalas.
