Cajuns defeat Buffalo in Saturday's game, 45-38
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)-- The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns win the game against the Buffalo Bulls, scoring 45 points.
In the first quarter, Cajun’s Chriss completed a pass to Johnson for an 8 yard touchdown.
In the second quarter, Almendares added to Louisiana's lead after kicking a 22 yard field goal.
Cajun defense held Buffalo to 56 yards of total offense.
In the third quarter, Chriss ran for 54 yards for a touchdown, adding seven points to the Cajun lead. Later in the third quarter, Buffalo bounced back with a touchdown from Ogbonna, putting the team on the scoreboard with seven points. Also in the quarter, Kibodi ran 69 yards for another touchdown for the Cajuns in the quarter. Snyder’s intercepted pass led the Cajuns to another touchdown.
Cook scored a touchdown for Buffalo. Cook scored another touchdown for Buffalo, ending the third quarter with Cajuns leading, 31-21.Going into the fourth quarter, Chriss scored a touchdown for the Cajuns. Buffalo came back with a 47 yard field goal from McNulty, putting the team at 24 points.
Kibodi ran 20 yards for a touchdown for the Cajuns. Also in the quarter, Snyder passed the ball to Johnson, leading Buffalo to another touchdown. The Cajuns win the game, making them 3-1 after coming back from a couple of games on the road.
