Cleanup efforts in Marin were scheduled at various sites in the Marin Headlands, Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley, the lower Ross Valley, San Rafael, Novato, Tomales Bay and the Pacific shore, according to the California Coastal Commission.
In addition to the state commission, other organizing agencies included the National Park Service and the Marin County parks department.
