Bihar is preparing to introduce another Vande Bharat Express train, with regular operations on the Patna-Howrah route starting on September 26th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate this service on Sunday. The train will have seven stoppages, including Patna Sahib, Mokama, Lakhisarai, Jasidih, Jamtara, Asansol, and Durgapur. The fare for a normal chair car will be Rs 1,200, while the executive class fare will be Rs 2,300 per passenger, excluding catering charges. The train will reduce travel time between Patna and Howrah to approximately six and a half hours.
