Partygate probe Harman wants to be Commons sleaze watchdog

The Labour MP who oversaw the "partygate" inquiry into Boris Johnson now hopes to become Parliament's official sleaze watchdog. Harriet Harman, a former Labour deputy leader, is standing in an election for chair of the Commons Standards Committee, which rules on complaints about MPs.
