Love Island’s Cara De La Hoyde praised as she shares ‘honest’ look at life with her kids
LOVE Island star Cara De La Hoyde has been praised by fans after she shared an honest glimpse at her family life.
Cara – who shares five-year-old son, Freddie George, and two-year-old daughter Delilah with husband Nathan Massey – shared clip of her messy house, including her near empty fridge and her untidy living room.
The influencer, 33, captioned the post: “A typical Monday.”
Many fans flooded the section with positive comments, praising her or showing the realities of being a busy working mum.
One writing: “Do you know, you are a whole vibe, love your normality and openness.”
Another posted: “Love love love. The rooms not tidy, the fridge is bare, the kids are late. An absolute normal day for any mum. Keeping it real for everyone.”
A third commented: “Definitely the realest influencer out there. Love to see it.”
Cara’s fans have been enjoying seeing the mum share stripped back posts of family life.
But earlier this year, Cara was cruelly mum-shamed for admitting she wears her pyjamas on the school run.
She posted a video of herself before she headed out the door and sparked the age old debate about what to wear at the school gates amongst her followers.
While most people showed their support and admitted they do the same, one person moaned: “Don’t wear PJs to school run.”
Cara was quick to hit back telling the user: “Honestly it’s been that kind of morning 100 tantrums from pinks. 5 different breakfasts while trying to put together a world book day outfit.”
Cara and Nathan met and fell in love on the ITV2 series back in 2016.
The couple have been sharing their life online ever since leaving the villa, from buying their own home and running several businesses to Cara’s personal experience with mental health.
As one of the first couples of the show to stand the test of time, the pair welcomed Freddie-George in 2017, and daughter Delilah in 2020.
