Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Vietnam's Thi Tam Nguyen in the women's 50kg category at the Asian Games. Zareen, a two-time world champion, controlled the match from the beginning, landing accurate punches and forcing her opponent to receive an eight count twice in the opening round. In another bout, Preeti Pawar won by referee stops contest (RSC) against Jordan's Silina Alhasanat. Preeti now needs one more win to secure a medal and an Olympic quota.
