Initiated in 2016 and reaching asteroid Bennu in 2018, NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft embarked on an ambitious mission: to gather a sample of asteroid rocks and soil. The pinnacle of this mission was reached in 2020 when the spacecraft successfully collected the sample.
