Top Dem fires back at Kristen Welker: 'You don't impeach a man for being a father to his son'
Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) on Sunday defended President Joe Biden against allegations he should be impeached.
"President Biden, according to one witness testimony, was on the phone 20 times with Hunter Biden's business associates," NBC host Welker told Clyburn. "It was described as pleasantries, but is that appropriate?"
"Well, his associates said they were pleasantries, but I think it's appropriate to be a father to your son," Clyburn replied. "And if your son is having a problem, and we all know the history of the problem that Hunter has with addiction, and he is being a father to his son."
