On the Record with NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks: Migrant crisis adds 26,000 new students

NEW YORK (PIX11) --- More than 26,000 new students will attend New York City schools due to the migrant crisis, officials said.

NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks said the challenge will not be accommodating the new students but making sure no particular school is overcrowded.

"Kids assimilate really well," Banks said on PIX on Politics Sunday morning.
