Irina Shayk took viral footwear to the streets of Italy during Milan Fashion Week.

While in Milan on Saturday, Shayk was spotted strolling in a pair of Maison Margiela’s Tabi pumps. The supermodel’s $990 style featured black leather uppers with buckled ankle straps and cylindrical heels, as well as the brand’s signature split toes — a hallmark that went viral earlier this month, thanks to news of a “Tabi swiper” thief in New York City on TikTok.

Shayk layered her viral heels over a pair of white Nike tube socks for a sporty flair. The set also brought a comfort-focused spin to her look for the occasion: a beige and brown leopard spot-printed button-up shirt from Dickies, paired with its matching shorts for a wild monochrome twist.

The model complete her outfit with dark rectangular sunglasses for an incognito effect, simultaneously bringing greater focus to her look’s prints and contrasting hues.

Shayk has always been known for her edgy style, wearing sleek boots and pointed-toe pumps by Burberry and Chanel and sneakers from brands like Prada. The Russian model has starred in campaigns for labels including Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and Mimi Luzon and rocked runways for Versace and Michael Kors during fashion month. Shayk has added the title of designer to her resume as well, having launched a capsule shoe collection with Tamara Mellon last year.

Milan Fashion Week officially kicked off on Sept. 19 and runs through Sept. 25. The spring 2024 season features a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of brands, including Fendi, Tom Ford, Versace, Gucci and more.
