Awkward Strictly moment as Bobby Brazier forgets he’s on live telly with Dianne and ‘doesn’t have clue’ what’s going on
EASTENDER’S Bobby Brazier had a mortifying mix up whilst live on Strictly Come Dancing.
Bobby, 20, who is a hot favourite to lift this year’s Glitterball trophy, was seen looking very confused whilst gracing our screens last night.
The actor, who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders, scored an enviable 29 points with his Foxtrot to All About You by McFly in last nights episode.
But despite his impressive dance moves, the National Television Awards Rising Star Award winner was completely baffled as he listened to Strictly hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly – resulting in a mortifying mistake.
Tess could be heard stating: “Join us live next Saturday night at six twenty on BBC One.”
Meanwhile, a bemused looking Bobby turned to his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell and asked: “Are we dancing tomorrow?”
Dianne could be seen shaking her head, which seemed to reassure Bobby.
Viewers of the show spotted the awkward moment though and were quick to share their thoughts, with one exclaiming: “Did Bobby ask if they’re dancing tomorrow and Diane’s like…b**ch pls! I love how he has no idea what’s going on.”
Regardless of his blunder, the star is believed to be in a prime position to bag some highly lucrative deals after the show.
PR guru Carla Speight predicted: “Bobby is hot right now and there’s no reason why he wouldn’t be appealing to the US after winning a National Television Award.
“Strictly will show the US how versatile he is and no doubt make him even more appealing, he could be the star of the next hit drama to come from across the pond.”
Carla believes Bobby’s huge likability factor could see him pull off amazing career success.
As well as being named the NTA’s Rising Star, the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody was also nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Comedic Performance at the Inside Soap Awards.
