Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has stated that he will accept the final decision of the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding the NCP's name and poll symbol. This comes after factions led by Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar submitted their claims to the ECI. Ajit Pawar had previously led eight MLAs to join the Shiv Sena-BJP government in Maharashtra.
