Golden Globes amazing choices! Give honorary awards to both Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke at the 2024 ceremony [Poll Results]
Gold Derby recently hosted two polls about which legends should be honored at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. Your choice to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for film life achievement is Julie Andrews. The top selection to receive the Carol Burnett Award for TV life achievement is Dick Van Dyke. Wouldn’t that be an amazing ceremony if the iconic stars of “Mary Poppins” would both be celebrated on the same night? The only word to describe it would be “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”!
Both Andrews and Van Dyke have received the Kennedy Center Honors and SAG life achievement awards. Andrews was honored last year with the AFI life achievement award. Van Dyke has been inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
