WORLD PHARMACY DAY: RANDLE GH JOINS OTHERS TO COMMEMORATE DAY

The Randle General Hospital, Surulere, has joined other health establishments and stakeholders to commemorate World Pharmacy Day with a special event aimed at enlightening the public on how Pharmacy has contributed immensely to strengthening healthcare delivery.

Addressing participants at the one-day event held today at the facility, the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Olumide Sojinrin said that World Pharmacy Day is a day set aside by the World Health Organisation to promote and advocate the role pharmacists play in improving the healthcare system all over the world.

He said the hospital will always deem it fit to mark the day every year, as the contribution of Pharmacists in health care delivery, especially at the hospital, can not be overemphasised.

The hospital later extended the sensitisation campaign to residents of the Surulere community with the distribution of fliers as part of activities marking the Y2023 edition.
