Couple leaving NYC bar mugged by gang of 12 young crooks: cops

The 22-year-old woman and 23-year-old man were walking at East 12th Street and Avenue C after leaving a bar around 3:45 a.m. Sunday when 12 young-looking suspects -- eight males and four females -- approached them, authorities said.
