Efforts are underway to bring Formula One back to India, according to senior officials at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Talks are being held to reintroduce the supercar racing event at the Buddh International Circuit in 2025. The first Indian Grand Prix was held at the circuit in 2011 but was discontinued after the 2013 race due to the withdrawal of entertainment tax exemption.
