The actor behind the character, Todd Boyce, has hinted that as Stephen Reid gets closer to being caught he is going to start ‘taking risks’.

It seems like one of those could involve bumping off anyone who spreads the word about the deaths.

The body of Stephen’s first victim, Leo Thompkins, has now been discovered at a building site in the village.

This means the net is tightening around the serial killer, who is a likely suspect as he is now going out with the victim’s ex.

Jenny Connor developed a romantic relationship with Stephen after believing that Leo had left town and ghosted her, but was horrified to discover her ex-fiancé was actually murdered.

She expressed a desire to get in touch with Leo’s dad Teddy to give him the news about her lover’s sudden death.

But fans were alarmed to hear her mention that to her boyfriend – the man responsible for Leo’s untimely demise.

They took to social media to share their concerns for Jenny, saying that she might be the next person in the cobbles to find her fate at the hands of Stephen.

One person lamented: “Yes Stephen is mashing Jenny’s head.”

Another agreed: “Jenny’s moving up that list.”

A third wrote: “I’m really worried for Jenny. With her obsessing over Teddy she could be making herself Stephen’s next victim.”

One concerned fan said: “So Stephen will kill again before his demise on Friday 13th October. But who will he kill? I really hope it isn’t Jenny.”

A second warned: “Come on Jenny, we have had this conversation, dont upset Roofbox Reidy, it’s not good for your welfare!”

Corrie bosses have already revealed the exact date serial killer Stephen Reid will be caught, and it’s going to come with the opportunity to meet him in the flesh.
