Man narrowly avoids jail after faking his own kidnapping to hide the fact he cheated on his girlfriend

Paul Iera, 36, from Wollongong, New South Wales, led his girlfriend to believe he was being held hostage over a $7,000 dirt bike to hide the affair, prosecutors said.
