The students started protesting after photographs of the two missing students' bodies went viral on social media on Monday. 17-years old female student Hijam Linthoingambi and 20-year-old boy Phijam Hemjit had gone missing on July 6 during the peak of ethnic violence in Manipur and the victims' families suspected that they had been killed by the armed assailants.
