Tens of thousands of hotel cleaners, bartenders, servers and cooks in Las Vegas are voting on whether to strike Tuesday, in another sign of rising U.S. worker activism as unions seek to recoup economic ground lost to inflation and to hedge against potential price increases in the future with new multiyear contracts.
