Guillory granted restraining order, opponent barred from accusing him of corruption

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A judge has ordered Lafayette Mayor-President candidate Monique Blanco-Boulet to stop accusing incumbent Josh Guillory of being corrupt.
The order comes in the form of a temporary restraining order requested by Guillory and granted by the 15th Judicial District Court on Tuesday.
"Monique Blanco Boulet is hereby restrained from distributing or transmitting any oral, visual, digital, or written material accusing Joshua S. Guillory of corruption pending a hearing on the request for a preliminary injunction," the court ordered.
The date of the hearing has not yet been set.
