Noteworthy: Ford was named MVP of the Viewpoint Tournament after the Highlanders went 5-1 and beat Bishop Diego to win the tournament championship. The outside hitter logged 58 kills, 23 digs, five blocks and six aces in the tournament. Royal is out to a 3-0 start in Coastal Canyon League. Ford hit .516 with five aces against Camarillo and had 15 kills and six aces against Moorpark in the team’s two most recent league wins.
