Meta reveals AI Ray-Ban ‘smart glasses’ that scan what you’re seeing with camera and even talk to you
MARK Zuckerberg has unveiled a pair of AI smart glasses.
The new tech specs have the company’s new Meta AI chatbot inside.
You can speak to the new Ray-Ban Meta Glasses and ask questions.
And after a new software update coming next year, the glasses will be to analyse what you’re seeing using a camera.
The Meta AI in your glasses could translate a sign that you’re seeing, or identify a building that you’re looking at.
Meta launched its first smart glasses – the Ray-Ban Stories – back in September 2021.
But they were mainly designed to record video clips.
The new specs are fitted with AI so that can work like a computer on your face.
They’re the first smart glasses built with Meta AI inside them.
Aside from AI, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses will still let you record video.
And a new feature allows you to livestream footage to friends right from your face.
The glasses are available from October 17 and will start at $299.
