The town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, is hosting two major sporting events - the Tawang Marathon and the Senior National Tug of War Championship. Over 3,500 sportspersons are participating in these events, making Tawang a hub of sporting activity. The marathon, set at an altitude of 11,500 feet, has attracted 2,400 runners, while the tug of war championship has participants from 15 states.
