West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose criticized the TMC government, saying there is violence outside the Raj Bhavan and surveillance inside. He had previously written to the state government and the Union home ministry, alleging he was being monitored. Bose's relationship with the TMC-run government has also deteriorated over university appointments and meetings with vice chancellors.
