Eighties kids TV star unrecognisable and has quit fame for completely different job – 26 years after legendary show
EIGHTIES kids TV star Richard Holian has quit fame for a completely different job – 26 years after the legendary show.
Richard played young lad Jonny in the children’s BBC programme Jonny Briggs between 1985 and 1987.
After Jonny Briggs, Richard landed roles in the likes of Emmerdale, All Creatures Great and Small and Heartbeat.
But now he does something completely different for his 9-5.
The former actor has swapped the stage and auditions for a career in banking.
Richard is now a stockbroker in London.
The TV programme Jonny Briggs followed the life of the young lad called Jonny.
The TV show ran for two years and had a total of 28 episodes.
It was based on the books by Joan Eadington.
Jonny and his family lived in a terraced house in the north of England.
The programme features his mum, dad, sister and two brothers.
It also followed Jonny and best pal Pam’s arguments with twins Ginny and Rosie.
