Michael Beale news — Rangers manager sacked from team after defeat to Aberdeen
BESIEGED Rangers manager Michael Beale has been sacked from the team, the club confirmed.
His future at the club was in doubt after the Teddy Bears lost to Aberdeen in a crushing 3-1 defeat.
Beale has been under pressure since losing the Old Firm derby before the international break.
But after Saturday’s loss against Aberdeen at Ibrox, the odds were on him losing his job – with fans calling for him to be sacked.
A statement from the team’s official account was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Rangers Football Club can confirm it has parted company with men’s first-team manager, Michael Beale.”
The Light Blues have lost three league matches already this season, with the victory for Barry Robson’s men proving the final straw for many supporters.
