Energy minister in Abu Dhabi

Energy Minister George Papanastasiou was in Abu Dhabi on Monday to participate in discussions at ADIPEC 2023, the world’s largest and most inclusive international conference for the energy industry.

Papanastasiou is scheduled to participate in ministerial discussions on green transition and will also meet with the UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hasan al-Suaidi, as well as heads of local investment funds and leading members of energy companies Chevron, Shell and Eni.

He will return to Cyprus on October 5.
