I haven't overlooked it I just don't think it was ever a field of dreams 'if you build it they will come' scenario.

It's already late, probably not this decade to be fair all these businesses that were flocking into the Midlands must have had some sort sense of idea of this - as I've said in another post, the scrapping of the Manchester / Leeds section as been a bane of contention for the last 3 or 4 (probably even longer) years.

Whatever colour your political flag, the tories have just signed their death certificates anyway. Just call a general election Rishi (don't forget the public didn't vote for you and nobody likes a backstabber) you can be on your hols and working freelance for a million a year in a month.
