AL Wild Card Series Game 2: Texas Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays, time, TV channel, live stream
The Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays will meet once again for Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series on Wednesday from Tropicana Field.
After a surprising 4-0 victory in Game 1, the Rangers have taken a 1-0 lead in the series, reminding us all of the unpredictable nature of playoff baseball. Despite a shaky end to their regular season, Texas seemed to brush off any lingering cobwebs, outmatching Tampa Bay both on the mound and at the plate.
While the Rays have had a stellar season, their Game 1 performance left much to be desired. The defensive side was particularly concerning, with Tampa Bay committing four errors. This marks their first shutout defeat since falling 8-0 to the Orioles on September 16, and fans have to look back to September 7 against the Mariners to find a previous shutout loss at home.
