Ford U.S. sales up 7.7 pct in third quarter

CHICAGO, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Ford Motor Co. announced Wednesday that it sold 500,504 new vehicles in the United States in the third quarter of this year, up 7.7 percent from 464,674 units in the same period of last year.
