Photos: Migrating bird carnage

The migration season saw the worst day of migrating bird carnage recorded at McCormick Place Lakeside Center in 40 years. At least 960 birds were found dead Oct. 5, 2023. And more birds were recovered on Oct. 6 in Chicago as unusual weather patterns continued.
