Abhishek Banerjee, a senior Trinamool Congress leader, criticized Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti for spreading false information about a meeting with the party's delegation in New Delhi. Banerjee stated that the TMC is ready to meet Jyoti at Raj Bhavan to discuss the MGNREGA issue. He also condemned Jyoti for asking the TMC delegation to come to the state BJP office for a discussion, calling it a manifestation of a "Zamindari" culture mindset.
