A MOMMY influencer has created a debate after she nailed her towels to the wall for a strange reason.
People said that they felt sorry for her kids after she shared her mommy hack via TikTok.
TikToker Jessica’s (@m.naq) viral video has garnered more than 3.8 million views since it was posted last week.
When it comes to decorative towels: Are they just there for show, or are they there to dry your hands?
As far as Jessica is concerned, she doesn’t want her kids to use her cloths.
“When your kids don’t know what a decorative towel is,” she wrote.
Jessica filmed herself nailing the items into the wall.
She added hashtags like #momhacks, #toweldesign, and #toweldecoration.
The TikToker paired the video with the song “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift.
The clip is only 11 seconds long but has amassed nearly 1,400 comments, more than 172,000 likes and 3,000 saves.
Some of the most popular comments were from people who said they always use the fancy decorations.
“If there’s a towel in the bathroom … I’m using it. decorative or not,” one person said, obtaining nearly 55,000 likes.
Other people called Jessica out, saying she would still have to wash the towels, despite them being nailed to the wall.
She responded to the person.
“I would let it MOLD and turn green before I let my expensive a** ‘decorative’ K-Mart towel be easily untacked from the wall,” she said.
TikTokers also felt bad for Jessica’s children.
“My parents were like this….was happy to move out, I grew up in a museum it was torture,” said a follower.
“Something tells me your kids don’t have doors,” a fourth social media user shared.
