One person dead following crash involving motorcycle in Cromwell
A motorcyclist was killed during a crash in Cromwell Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 4:43 p.m. in the area of 97 Berlin Road where officers discovered a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle, according to the Cromwell Police Department.
The motorcycle operator, identified as 58-year-old Steve Lee of Middletown, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Cromwell police said they are being assisted by the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team in the investigation into the crash.
