Tensions have risen within the West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, with clashes between old and new party members. Protesting workers attempted to force their way into the party office in Salt Lake City and marched to the party headquarters, expressing grievances and accusing BJP leaders of corruption.
