Full Razorback squad races on NCAA Championship course
CHARLOTTESVILLE – Arkansas races on the Panorama Farms course that will host the NCAA Championships in November on Saturday among a field of 38 teams, which includes three other top 30 nationally ranked squads in addition to the No. 21 Razorbacks.
Additional nationally ranked teams competing in the Pre-Nationals hosted by Virginia include the No. 10 host Cavaliers, No. 17 Tennessee, and No. 28 Cal Poly.
“It’s a great opportunity this weekend to stretch our legs a little bit and get an idea of how really good this team is,” noted Arkansas men’s head coach Chris Bucknam. “We had a good opener at Chile Pepper, which is a worthwhile meet for us and a lot of fun.
“Now it gets real. This is a tough course and it’s going to challenge us. We’re going to get a chance to take a peek at this thing, because hopefully we’ll be back here for the NCAA Championships in November.”
