The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has allowed Deepak Chhabria to remain Chairman of Finolex Cables based on the provisions outlined in the Articles of Association. The NCLAT determined that Chhabria held the position of authorised representative for Orbit Electricals on the board of Finolex Cables.
