BBC viewers have blasted the broadcaster for not confirming the return date of Casualty, following weeks off air.

The British medical drama has been on screens since 1986, but a recent break left fans wondering when it would return.

The show announced it was taking a break in September – and fans have been eagerly waiting for a return date[/caption]

In September, it was announced that Casualty would be taking some time off from the schedules until further notice.

However an official representative said the show will return later this year, according to WhatToWatch.

But with no official date set, fans have been left frustrated – and they desperately want to know when it’s coming back.

Taking to X/Twitter, viewers ripped into the BBC, demanding to know when the show will be back.

One wrote: “Really need to know when Casualty is coming back??”

A second added: “Saturdays aren’t the same now Casualty isn’t on, when is it back, BBC?”

A third fumed: “Can you tell me when Casualty is back, this is ridiculous, BBC!”

A fourth penned: “Does anyone know when Casualty is back?”

While a fifth added: “My Saturdays are not complete with Casualty, BBC can you give an update?”

Although no exact date has been given, with only two and a half months left in 2023, the show should be here soon.
