The Jaguar dealership said its new car sales operation will be predominantly based in Northampton.
The new location on Swan Valley Way is around 32 miles away.
Customers will have to travel approximately 40 minutes to get to the new destination.
However, Sytner has transferred employees and a number of vehicles to Sytner Land Rover on Birmingham Road in Allesley, according to CoventryLive.
A company spokesman said this will “ensure that dedicated services continue locally.”
A spokesman for Jaguar Land Rover said: “Due to the expiration of the lease on its existing premises, Sytner Jaguar Coventry made the decision to relocate its new car sales operation to the Sytner Jaguar Land Rover Northampton site on October 6.
“We fully support this decision as it provides a new opportunity to elevate our clients’ purchase experience.
“In parallel, Sytner has transferred sales, service and associated staff to its nearby Sytner Land Rover Coventry site to ensure dedicated services continue locally.
“We are wholeheartedly committed to the continued support of Sytner Jaguar Coventry clients and are working with Sytner to ensure the transition is as comfortable and convenient as possible for all.”
Just last month, Autovogue closed down after 30 years of business and blamed Jaguar’s failures as the cause.
The major car dealership said it spent £198,000 repairing Jaguar Land Rover motors last year.
Elsewhere, a car firm serving 1,000s of drivers in the Midlands is set to make a huge closing time change.
The Brindley Group, which has 12 new and used car dealerships across the West Midlands, will cut their opening hours to six days a week.
