Philippines posts 414 mln USD deficit in September

MANILA, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Philippines' overall balance of payments (BOP) posted a 414 million U.S. dollars deficit in September, lower than the 2.3 billion dollars recorded a year ago, the country's central bank said Thursday.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said the BOP deficit in September this year reflected net outflows arising mainly from the national government's payments of its foreign currenc
