Manolo Blahnik Celebrates ‘Archives: The Craft’ With Star-Studded Dinner in NYC
Manolo Blahnik celebrated its latest project with a star-studded dinner in New York City.
To toast its new virtual anniversary experience, “The Manolo Blahnik Archives: The Craft” — which shows viewers the artistry and craftsmanship behind its luxury footwear — the FNAA-winning brand celebrated with a party at Saint Theo’s restaurant.
For the occasion, the venue was arranged in the spirit of a classic salon, complete with live music by singer Rainey Qualley. The affair also found guests including actresses Cathy Ang, Kathryn Gallagher and Jihae Kim, as well as style stars like Alexander Roth, Caitlin Burke, Freya Drohan and Markarian designer Alexandra O’Neill in attendance, outfitted in their best Manolos — which ranged from sharp mules to bejeweled pumps.
“And Just Like That” star Cathy Ang slipped on a pair of Blahnik’s Hangisi pumps for the occasion, featuring a white lace base topped by the style’s signature crystal buckles — originally made famous from the 2008 “Sex and the City” film. The actress chicly complemented the glamorous shoes with a black lapeled minidress and matching sheer tights, creating a two-toned statement.
Kathryn Gallagher arrived at Saint Theo’s in a set of cream cap-toed pumps, which merged preppy and sleek statements with their sheer uppers, pointed toes and thin Mary Jane straps. The “You” star paired her sharp heels with a knit green dress dripping with 3D flowers, which she elevated with a light brown reptile-embossed clutch.
Rainey Qualley sparkled at Blahnik’s dinner in a set of black satin mules with pointed toes and thin stilettos, elevated by glittering crystal-embellished straps. The glitzy heels were given an effortlessly ’90s spin for the occasion, thanks to her lace-paneled black silk slip dress and smooth leather jacket.
Stylist Caitlin Burke stepped out for Blahnik’s dinner in a set of the brand’s two-toned pumps, featuring black heels and white satin toes topped by gleaming crystal ornaments. For a color-blocked appearance, Burke paired the style with a pale beige silk skirt, draped brown top and Bottega Veneta’s textured green knit clutch.
