Julianne Hough Goes Sheer With See-Through Heels at Industry Dance Awards 2023

Julianne Hough brought sleek style to the red carpet for the 2023 Industry Dance Awards.

While arriving to the occasion on Wednesday, Hough struck a pose in a set of sharp pumps. The “World of Dance” mentor’s style featured smooth, transparent uppers with curved front openings and triangular toes. Though its heels couldn’t be seen, the pair was likely complete with thin stiletto heels — given both its traditional shape and other pairs Hough’s donned over the years.

The actress‘ footwear added a sleek edge to her ensemble for the occasion: a sheer black lace dress with gauzy flounced trim, layered beneath a boxy cropped blazer with dramatically padded shoulders and wide silk lapels.

Hough’s revamped suiting was cinched with a black leather belt — featuring intricately woven strands periodically knotted together — for a bohemian edge. Her ensemble was smoothly finished with a set of gleaming gold and diamond drop earrings, as well as a black leather clutch with a gold metal snake-chain handle.

During the occasion, Hough took a moment to pose with her colleagues and fellow dancers, including Artem Chigvintsev and Gleb Savchenko.

When it comes to shoes, Hough often wears strappy sandals and pointed-toe pumps from affordable brands Femme LA, Kurt Geiger and Free People. Off-duty, the “Safe Haven” actress’ looks include flats, close-toed mules and heeled sandals from Kate Spade New York and Franco Sarto. She can also be seen in a range of athletic sneakers by Hoka, Under Armour and other brands as well.
