Sharing her advice online, blonde beauty took to social media, as she demonstrated her quick and easy tutorial.

And don’t worry, you won’t need to go out and splash the cash on pricey anti-ageing products with this trick

In fact, it could cost you as little as 62p – yes, you heard that correctly.

Sara shared her hack – which involves using a gua sha tool – to keep her face slim, on social media.

She explained: “Never skipping this in my morning routine.

“How I made my face go from super swollen, to more defined.

“You can also see in this video that [my face] is a lot more defined and less swollen.

“I suffer from extremely high cortisol levels. Why I’m mentioning that is because when you have high cortisol levels, which is also known as your stress hormone, you retain a lot of water and you get a moon face, chubby cheeks.

“I always as a kid had a round face, I always had big cheeks.

“But this thing [gua sha] right here saved my life.”

A gua sha is a skincare tool that helps promote blood flow to the area being scraped, which can help reduce pain and stiffness.

Sara continued: “I was so embarrassed to take pictures because I felt like I looked like a soccer ball. I started shying away.

“I remember crying to my mum saying ‘why do I look so much bigger in my face?’.

“I’m not the skinniest girl out there, I know, but I was becoming so insecure about it. Until I learnt how to do lymphatic drainage on my face, with a gua sha.

“I do it in the morning, because I wake up pretty puffy.

“Lemme show you what I do.”

Sara then demonstrated her facial massage technique, as she revealed: “I start up by opening up my drainage pathways, five times [sides of the neck], five times [on your jawline], five times here [either side of your nose], and you can also do up at the temples.

“You can use an oil or a cream. I make sure to get it on the spots where I’ll be using the gua sha – on the cheekbone, under the jawline, a little on my forehead and my nose and the neck.

“I use my hands for my neck, it’s just quicker. I just massage down 15 times each side.

“Now I’m gonna take the gua sha tool, use the longer part to go in your jaw line [and drag it down].

“For five to seven strokes you’re going to bring it all the way down into your neck.

“You’re getting all the water and drain it all the way down.”

Sara then repeated that step on the other side, before adding: “Now you’re gonna flip the tool and make sure it’s slippery enough.

“Same thing, 15 times to bring it up [on your cheekbone].

“I also just want to note, it’s normal that your skin gets red like this.

“Once you do it 15 to 20 times, you’ll do the same thing and just drag it down, all the way [to your neck].

“Then I like to use this side of it [flat edge side] and do another 15 times. I repeat the same thing on the other side.

“Then with my eyes I go in with my fingers 15 times, pushing inwards towards the nose.

“Then for my forehead, it’s not that big a deal, I just [pull up] 15 times and that’s about it.”

Once she had finished her beauty routine, Sara explained: “So yeah, I’ve been doing this for about a year and a half.

“It’s really helped structure my face and get rid of all that water retention I have.

“When I’m congested in my nose, I can literally feel the drainage. It’s so weird but it feels so good.

“Hope that helps anyone that’s struggling with a swollen face.”

Sara later claimed that it took her four to six weeks to notice a difference after using her gua sha.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @sarazelko, has clearly left many very impressed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since racked up a staggering 1.7 million views.

Social media users were thankful for Sara’s advice and were eager to give her routine a try.

One person said: “Finally real advice and not a TikTok shop item and *eligible for commission* line at the bottom. I’ve gotta get more use from my gua sha. Thank you!”

Another added: “I’m struggling with cortisol levels too, my face stays round and swollen/double chin.. I’m gonna try this!”

A third commented: “Saved this and gonna try to do daily.”

Whilst someone else wrote: “This is the best tutorial I’ve seen so far! Thank you!”

If you fancy giving this tutorial a try, you can buy a gua sha from a variety of different high-street shops, including Boots and Superdrug.

However, you can also find gua shas extremely cheap online, with some for as little as 62p on Ali Express.
